Safety is the lifeline of tourism. The safety work of scenic spots is very important to maintain the healthy development of tourism. With the rapid development of tourism and the diversification of tourists’ needs，new tourism formats and new projects are emerging. The factors affecting the safety of scenic spots are more complex and diverse，and the situation of safety management and supervision of scenic spots is grim under the background of the normalization of epidemic prevention. Based on the collection of 141 scenic spot security incidents in 2021，this paper analyzes the development situation，characteristics and causes of scenic spot security in 2021，prospects the security situation of scenic spots in China in 2022 and puts forward management suggestions，in order to provide reference and reference for the comprehensive management of scenic spot security in China.
