Chinain the Tang Dynasty was a country of poetry. The “Complete Tang Poems” includes nearly 50，000 poems by more than 2，200 poets. Li Bai，Du Fu and Bai Juyi，known as the “Three Poets”，were the ones who eventually dominated the poetry world. 2022 marks the 1250th anniversary of the birth of Bai Juyi，whose nickname is “Poetry King”. Under this background，this article is created to detail the great historical achievements of Bai Juyi’s poetry and the great international influence it has produced in history. It also analyzes the status of existing Bai Juyi cultural resources and existing problems in the utilization of the said resources. Finally，it discusses the strategies for Luoyang to enhance Bai Juyi’s international influence from the aspects of ideological understanding，goal connotation，general thinking and key content.
