Since 2019，China’s childcare industry has entered the stage of policy standardized development with the release of relevant guidance and supporting policies. Henan province has introduced a series of measures to develop childcare services. The demand of child-bearing in Henan province is affected by age differences，distance，type，time，item and price. On the whole，the development of childcare institutions among different cities in Henan province is uneven，and the problem of “unbalanced development” of childcare services between cities is more prominent，and the distribution of institutions presents a trend of “regional agglomeration”. The demand for childcare service is strong，but the overall supply level is not high，and there is a big gap between supply and demand. Private organization and kindergartens are the main providers of childcare services. There are many modes of childcare industry in Henan province，such as public private，private public assistance，brand chain，real estate linkage，enterprises and institutions run by themselves，childcare integration and so on. The introduction of relevant policies is conducive to the high-quality and standardized development of the industry and the market.
