In a period of increasing contradictions and risks，public risk perception research is an important measure to strengthen risk analysis. Focusing on risk severity and risk dread，this paper constructs the basic concept and and measurement method of risk perception by taking the crisis probability，potential consequence and uncontrollability of risk as the elements. By doing an online questionnaire survey，which is based on 10 fields and 40 risk projects，the chinese public risk perception in 2022 was surveyed. The data results were presented and the key points were analyzed. Policy suggestions were raised，such as fully considering the impact of public risk perception in risk judgment and related decision-making，improving the openness and responsiveness of government information to reduce public policy risk anxiety，and reasonably defining the risk responsibility of the government and individuals.
