This paper analysises the shortage situations of global artificial intelligence talents and the trends of the relevant skill developments. It systematically describes the characteristics and classifications of AI talents，sorts out the talents distributions and structures of relevant typical economies in the world，summarizes the problems during the development of global AI talents. Then relevant policy suggestions for China are put forward at the end. It is advised to foster comprehensively the national artificial intelligence ecosystem，monitor positively the trends of AI talents supply and demand，cultivate diversified AI talents，promote government sectors to utilize AI talents，and attract innovatively international talents.
