Climate change has prompted more and more countries around the world to pay attention to the low-carbon transformation of the power industry. National Grid plc and Electricite de France have carried out a lot of work in low-carbon development，mainly including the following actions：promoting safety and low-carbon work to go hand in hand through scientific adjustment of the power structure，strengthening wide area allocation of energy，and promoting the large-scale transmission of wind power；effectively reducing production and operation emissions through orderly taking SF6 equipment offline，vigorously promoting user energy efficiency plans，and actively implementing virtual power plant projects；promoting the clean use of energy in the whole society by establishing carbon reduction standards for all employees，carrying out carbon footprint prediction management，and releasing the value of electricity-carbon data. Therefore，it is suggested that the power industry in Fujian Province should learn from relevant experience and make efforts in three aspects：system transformation，production and operation，and behavior management to better serve the realization of carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
