Carbon neutrality is an extensive and profound social systemic change，which requires all regions to formulate layout as soon as possible and make promotion as a whole. Fujian Province has a high degree of clean energy structure and leading energy utilization technology in the country. It has certain advantages in the promotion of carbon neutrality. However，the industrial structure is heavy，and the layout of key technologies such as carbon capture，utilization and storage，and hydrogen energy is lagging behind，which may become the constraints of provincewide deep decarbonization in the future. At present，the country and Fujian Province have explored and carried out carbon neutrality pilot program at the four levels of communities，industrial parks，large-scale events and buildings，providing experience and reference for Fujian Province to further deepen the carbon neutrality pilot work. To fully promote the carbon neutrality process，Fujian Province should focus on the following four major areas of emission reduction：strengthening the construction of flexible resources in the energy supply industry，improving the level of clean energy utilization，building a new energy system with electricity-hydrogen synergy；optimizing production processes and clean energy utilization technologies in manufacturing，and strengthening the treatment of fossil energy combustion emissions；promoting the upgrade of clean vehicles and breakthroughs of clean power technology in the transportation sector；promoting the low-carbon development of daily travel and building energy use in the residential sector.
