Continuously promoting and improving the carbon control and reduction policy system can point out the direction for carbon emission reduction and provide a strong starting point for advancing the process of carbon peak and carbon neutrality. In 2021，Fujian Province issued relevant policies proposing to promote the energy-saving transformation of high energy-consuming industries，expedited the cultivation of new industries，and facilitated the green and low-carbon upgrade of industrial structure；clarified and improved the statistical monitoring system of carbon emissions，and accelerate the construction of low-carbon standard evaluation system；sped up the research on marine carbon sink investigation and accounting methodology，and continuously improved the carbon sink capacity of the ecosystem；improved the environmental equity trading market and encouraged the development of low-carbon technologies by market-oriented means；continued to deepen low-carbon pilot program and actively explored low-carbon development paths. It is expected that Fujian Province may formulate more scientific and orderly carbon reduction goals in the next stage，further improve the policy system of coordinated efforts，promote the deepening and implementation of pilot program，strengthen the assessment of dual carbon work，and provide policy basis for achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
