In 2021，the national carbon market has officially launched，and China has entered the stage of dual-track operation of the national carbon market and the pilot carbon markets. 40 emission-controlled enterprises in the power generation industry in Fujian will be placed under the national carbon market for trading. At the same time，Fujian carbon market has further expanded the scope of emission-controlled enterprises and improved the quota allocation mechanisms. By the end of 2021，there were 284 emission-controlled enterprises in Fujian carbon market，with an annual cumulative transaction volume of 13.579 million tons and a cumulative transaction value of 260 million yuan，both of which have increased significantly over the previous year. However，Fujian carbon market still has limitations such as insufficient legal binding force and the lack of financial derivatives promotion at present. In the next stage，it is recommended that Fujian further work on improving the data management system for carbon market，optimizing the quota allocation model，enriching the trading products in Fujian carbon market，and intensifying supervision，so as to contribute to reducing emissions as an effective market.
