Knowledge base is the organic combination of artificial intelligence and database，and is the key and core of a series of artificial intelligence systems such as expert system and decision support system. The construction of intelligent clinical assisted decision system is mainly aimed at serving clinical diagnosis and treatment practice，mining and inheriting TCM experience and meeting the needs of TCM personnel training. In this paper，the construction and clinical application of knowledge base of TCM and intelligent auxiliary decision system are explored. The results show that the overall score of the electronic medical record completed by using the intelligent assisted decision system is higher than that completed by not using the electronic medical record，indicating that the intelligent assisted decision system has obvious effect on improving the quality of electronic medical record in Longhua Hospital. Through the establishment of intelligent decision-making system and the application of TCM knowledge base system in clinical practice，the efficiency of hospital treatment and the quality of electronic medical record can be effectively improved，and the patient evaluation with higher satisfaction can be obtained.
