In 2021，Guangzhou has promoted the steady development of compulsory education by increasing the supply of compulsory education degrees，optimizing the level of after-school services，deepening the governance of after-school training institutions，and practicing the “Five Education Programs” simultaneously. However，through regional comparison，it is found that the unbalanced and inadequate development of compulsory education in Guangzhou is still prominent. Therefore，in the future development，Guangzhou needs to further promote the high-quality development of compulsory education，continue to carry out the “Double Reduction” work of compulsory education，comprehensively strengthen the construction of teachers，and constantly meet the growing demand of the broad masses for high-quality education resources.
