This report firstly summarizes and evaluates the basic conditions for Panxi Economic Zone to integrate into the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle from the aspects of natural resources，ecological environment，industrial base，and location conditions. Secondly，based on the opportunities of constructing the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle，the major opportunities and main challenges in the integration process were analyzed and judged in terms of industrial economic level，scientific and technological innovation support，location and transportation，and ecological environment. It is suggested that the Panxi Economic Zone should follow the principle of “developing Panxi by integrating，supporting Chengdu-Chongqing through self-construction”，and taking “integration-coordination-sharing” as stage goals and development path，and strive to build it into an industrial supporting base，the southward open portal，a health-care sunny garden，dual-carbon strategic support area，collaborative innovation highland for the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle. Finally，the report puts forward policy suggestions on striving for the compiling of special planning，strengthening policy linkage and establishing a long-term cooperation mechanism.
