Urban-rural integration development in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle is a practical need to break the dual structure of urban-rural areas and promote the simultaneous realization of Common Prosperity between the western provinces and the whole country. By sorting out the urban-rural development process of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle，this report constructs an indicator system from three dimensions of urban-rural economic integration，social integration and life integration，and evaluates the level of urban-rural integration in the economic circle. The results show that the urban-rural integration development levels of Chengdu and Chongqing city in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle are leading and differ significantly from other cities，and there is a positive correlation between the economic development status of each city and the level of urban-rural integration development. In the future，the urban-rural integration development of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle will face four key issues：market cultivation in value integration，administrative division barriers in functional integration，reform policy implementation in element integration，and governance mechanism optimization in social integration. We suggest that it should give priority to exploring the coordinated development path of urban-rural industries，innovating the cross-domain optimal allocation of urban-rural functions，deepening the reform of the household registration and residence permit system，exploring the reform of the rural land system，strengthening the guarantee of funds and talents for integrated development，and promoting the mutual integration of urban-rural society and culture to promote the high-quality development of urban-rural integration in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle.
