The Outline of the Construction Plan for the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council proposes to promote the integrated development of education in the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle. In order to understand the cooperation in education between the two places，this report selects the basic data of Higher Education，vocational education，compulsory education，preschool education，teacher team construction and other aspects of the two places and analyzes the educational synergy in different historical periods. The study found that the coordinated development of education in the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle faces opportunities such as policy dividends，people’s expectations，and technological empowerment. However，there are alsorealistic challenges，such us administrative separations that make integration difficult，the form of coordination is relatively simple，and the concept of collaboration needs to be strengthened，poor coordination with economic development，and so on. In the future，this report proposes to promote the integrated development of education in the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle by strengthening the concept of educational synergy，highlighting the dual-core drive，and enhancing educational synergy guarantees.
