Compared with previous mobile communication technologies，5G has greater economic driving capacity and application scope，and has become an important foundation for high-quality economic development. Due to the long length of the industrial chain，strong economic traction，and large scale of investment and output，5G is an important thrust to promote the digital transformation of vertical industries. Based on the characteristics of 5G with large bandwidth，low latency and wide connection，this paper analyzed 5G platform for large data，edge of cloud，and the application of Internet of things. Apart from these，new infrastructure transformation，virtual reality technology，artificial intelligence technology，network security and cloud integration process，as well as the CDN distribution as the core product of medium resource system. Moreover，the feasibility analysis of the application of 5G technology to further realize the digitization of related industries and the linkage of related technology communities is carried out.
