Since the outbreak of the COVID-19，people’s lives，health and safety have been greatly threatened. In order to prevent and control the epidemic，the gathering of people in the physical space has been greatly reduced. Instead，the communication among people，people and objects，objects and objects，online space have increased. The epidemic has distanced people in physical space，but it has strengthened people’s need for connection at the online space. This chapter summarizes the application of 5G media convergence in my China during the COVID-19，and discuss the four major aspects of “5G + medical health”，“5G + education office”，“5G + media” and “5G + new consumption”，and proposes that 5G provides a solid technical guarantee for effective communication at a special period.
