In the new development stage，science popularization demonstration county is an important starting point for the development of basic level science popularization and a key project to improve the service capacity of basic level science popularization and promote the high-quality development of science popularization. Based on the investigation on science popularization demonstration counties and the combination of realistic situation and literature review，the framework regarding management mechanism for science popularization demonstration county was put forward in the present paper. To be specific，（1）Organizational leadership mechanism. The organizational leadership mechanism characterized by appreciated by the party and government administration，coordinated and efficiently cooperated by multiple departments，clear responsibilities，fluent communication and powerful execution should be formed. （2）Resource security mechanism. The enough supply，proper utilization and rational allocation of resources should be guaranteed. （3）Examination and evaluation mechanism. Scientific，rational and dynamic adjustment of evaluation criteria regarding science popularization demonstration counties should be ensured. Timely tracking and monitoring on the constructive processes，and the appropriate rewards and punishments on the constructive results should be guaranteed. （4）Training mechanism. To ensure the display of demonstration effect，typical experiences and models should be summarized and refined timely and generalized in forms of policy guidance，exchange meetings，training meetings，etc.
