In the new stage of development，China pays more attention to the overall development of people，adheres to the important concept of people-centeredness，and takes continuous improvement of people’s livelihood and well-being as its responsibility. At the same time，employment is the basic guarantee for people’s happy life and the prosperity of society and the country. Employment is the biggest People’s livelihood and employment quality are also an important indicator reflecting the quality of economic development. This paper which sorts out the goals and policies of high-quality employment expounds on the current situation of China’s high-quality employment development and the contradictions and challenges it faces. In the meanwhile，it draws on foreign experience and historical experience to put forward relevant suggestions for China’s future high-quality employment development.
