Common prosperity is not simply an economic issue，but also a social issue and most importantly a political issue. We need to conduct systematic research based on policy，practice，problems and countermeasures. In terms of policy，generations of CPC leaders have continued to explore why，what is，and how to achieve common prosperity. In the new era，General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized promoting common prosperity in high-quality development，and made a series of important expositions and major deployments，we must take this as the fundamental compliance and action guide for solidly promoting common prosperity. In terms of practice，it is necessary to further promote the construction of a pilot demonstration area for common prosperity represented by Zhejiang Province，and encourage all parts of the country to explore measures according to local conditions. In terms of problems，we must respond effectively in five aspects：understanding the gap between the rich and the poor，determining a reasonable range，taking into account both material and spiritual，the dilemma of charitable donations，and the people’s psychological expectations. In terms of countermeasures，it is necessary to put forward a dialectical understanding of various relations，such as，the relationship between unable being to wait and being impatient，making the cake bigger and dividing it better，the role of the government and the role of the market，and the relationship between public and non-public enterprises. It is proposed that the policy orientation should be coordinated in order to narrow the income gap and wealth gap，narrow the explicit gap and implicit gap，narrow the gap between private products and public products，promote the filling of weaknesses and building a high bottom plate，consider dynamic domestic comparison and dynamic international comparison，realize common prosperity and class mobility. We must promote common prosperity in high-quality development，deeply understand the long-term，arduous and complex nature of common prosperity，and improve the balance，coordination and inclusiveness of development.
