First，to review the policy support and general development of education informatization in China，this study focuses on three cases of schools at different levels，analyzing the practical characteristics and experience of promoting informatization and achieving ideal results. From the perspective of promoting the essence of education，it discusses the role and mechanism of education informatization in improving the quality and advancing modernization of schools with different levels of ability. Finally，reflecting on the process of education informatization in schools，this paper proposes to stress the subjectivity of learners，promote the systematic optimization of teaching methods and curriculum design through the application of information technology，and integrate the publicity and participatory culture represented by information technology into the school management system innovation.
