Based on emerging technologies and taking the intelligent application service system as the carrier，smart campus constructs new campus ecology by combining major modules together. Supported by national policies and propelled by the epidemic，this idea is in compliance with the development trend of education and has gained in popularity. At present，on the one hand，the Internet of Things，big data，cloud computing and artificial intelligence have permeated all aspects in campus，including its infrastructure，teaching resources，teaching environment，campus management and campus services. On the other hand，smart campus industry is still in its infancy with low barriers and coupled with policy support，attracting many science and technology barons. However，currently there are still some problems such as low degree of technical refinement，low degree of integration with the essence of education，low industry standards and high costs. In the future，the development of smart campus will completely reverse the thinking，shifting from the focus on technology to the focus on people. And following efforts to develop smart campus will give priority to education equity，targeted poverty alleviation through education，quality education and well-rounded development of students as well as construction of teaching staff. It is also significant to promote the renovation of educational philosophy by using the concept of smart and spur progress of educational thoughts that guide technology by technological progress，so as to promote the upgrade of smart campus，intelligent education and even the entire education.
