基于2013~2020年的省级面板数据,本报告考察了各省份尤其是广东数字经济发展对制造业发展质量的影响大小及影响渠道。使用主成分分析法构造数字经济发展水平和制造业发展质量指标体系,研究发现:一是从影响大小来看,数字经济的发展显著促进了中国各省份的制造业发展质量提升,平均而言,数字经济发展水平每提高1%,制造业发展质量将提高0。461%;相比全国其他省份,广东数字经济的发展对制造业发展质量提升的促进作用更强;二是从影响渠道来看,数字经济发展主要通过促进制造业结构优化、创新驱动和绿色发展而提升了制造业发展质量,现阶段数字经济发展对提升制造业经济效益的作用并不显著;三是相比西部,中国东部与中部省份的数字经济发展在制造业结构优化、制造业绿色发展方面的促进作用更大,同时东部、中部和西部省份的数字经济发展在制造业发展质量、经济效益和创新驱动方面的促进作用无明显差异;四是广东制造业发展质量总体上在全国处于领先水平,尤其是在制造业创新驱动方面有较大优势,但在制造业发展质量的其他分项指标上优势并不突出。
<<Based on the provincial panel data from 2013 to 2020,this report examines the influence of the development digital economy on the development quality of Guangdong’s manufacturing industry and its influence channels. The principal component analysis method is used to construct indicator systems for the development level of the digital economy and the manufacturing quality. The research finds that:First,the development of the digital economy significantly promotes the manufacturing development quality in China. On average,if the development level of the digital economy increases by 1%,the manufacturing development quality will increase by 0.461%. Meanwhile,compared with other provinces,the development of the digital economy in Guangdong has a stronger role in promoting manufacturing development quality. Second,as influence channels,the development of digital economy improves the manufacturing development quality mainly by optimizing the manufacturing structure,promoting the innovation-driven and green development manufacturing industry. However,the development of digital economy does not play a significant role in improving the economic efficiency of manufacturing industry. Third,compared with the western region,the digital economy development in the eastern and central provinces of China plays a greater role in optimizing the manufacturing structure and promoting green development,and there is no significant difference between the development quality and the economic efficiency of manufacturing industry. Fourth,Guangdong’s manufacturing development quality is generally at the leading level in China,especially in terms of innovation-driven,but the advantages are not prominent in other sub-indices of manufacturing development quality.
