With the development of international division of labor，trade and modern logistics industry，port logistics has become an important part of modern logistics system. In recent years，with the the Sino US trade friction and the COVID-19，China’s has been experiencing a “momentous changes unseen in a century”. The “dual circulation” strategy has been proposed，Guangdong’s port logistics industry is required to transform，and strengthen its “supply chain center” function. Therefore，the transformation and development of Guangdong’s port logistics industry can be promoted through the following route：First，strengthen the government guidance for the transformation and high-quality development of port logistics industry；Second，enhance the international competitiveness of port logistics through regional cooperation；Third，strengthen the transformation and upgrading of Guangdong’s ports and their open functional parks；Fourth，strengthen the structural reform of port logistics supply side and broaden the service function of port logistics；Fifth，integrate the logistics service system of ports and port cities；Sixth，build a port logistics data management center and improve the supply chain risk management system；Seventh，optimize the business environment and implement high-standard port logistics supervision rules.
