In recent years，with the continuous advancement of China’s higher education reform，the data and information of higher education management are increasing，and the traditional higher education model is facing great challenges. This report starts from the development background of my country’s higher education informatization，and systematically analyzes the top-level design problems faced in the field of higher education management，low rate of resource sharing，and low rate of collaborative innovation. Taking Zhengzhou University’s “Houshan Chain” as a typical case，through the application of blockchain technology，it can solve the problems of information asymmetry，difficult data maintenance，user distrust，difficult responsibility determination，untrustworthy data，and difficult system connection in higher education management，etc. Houshan Chain effectively empowers education management，optimally realizes higher education data life cycle management and data value evaluation，and lays a solid and credible foundation for promoting the better development of talent training. This report further introduces the blockchain university alliance in Henan Province established by “Houshan Chain” to realize the application innovation and ecological innovation of the inter-school alliance.
