This article aims to compare the utilization of Creative Cities Net work among different cities and its role in promoting international exchanges. To further analyze how good examples of other cities can improve the development of Beijing’s international exchanges by using the evaluation and case study methods from Global Creativity for Sustainable Development Index （CSDI Index）. Beijing is a rather active member in the Creative Cities Networks，but compare with the outstanding cities，there is still some room for further improvement. To further exploit Creative Cities Net work could be significant for Beijing to build a center for international exchanges，and it shall become a great support in promoting Beijing’s international communication in the field of creative economy and enrich Beijing’s cultural image on the international stage.
