In a complicated background shaped by domestic and international factors in 2021，Beijing continued to innovation and development on diplomatic events，giving more attention to diversification and multi-layered methods on the basis of online meetings and “diplomacy in cloud”. By doing so，Beijing gave full play to its role as an international exchange center and ensured the successful staging of major diplomatic events by providing flexible，practical and scientifically-designed services. 2022 sees the world in greater volatility and complexity and the fight against Covid-19 still prevalent in daily life. As a result，diplomacy events hosted by China still faces stark challenge. However，as China’s status and role in global governance keep rising，the world still anticipates China’s diplomatic efforts. Beijing，as the capital of China，thus still faces great challenges in supporting diplomatic events. It needs to draw from its past experiences，strengthen forward-looking research and improve management standards，so as to provide better high-quality services to the nation’s overall diplomacy.
