Community health service as the output of community health service institutions，including prevention，health care，medical treatment，rehabilitation，health education，and family planning technical services as one of the primary health service set. With the acceleration of population aging and the continuous growth of chronic diseases，the change of disease spectrum，the promotion of medical reform policy and the insufficient investment in health field，the grass-roots medical and health service system with community health service as the core can not meet the people’s medical needs. Vigorously developing the standardization construction of community health service is a strategic measure for the development of health undertakings in China，and an important link to improve and perfect the grass-roots health service system in China. By analyzing the current situation and existing problems of community health service in China，this paper clarifies that the standardization of community health service is a work involving full participation and multi-level overall coordination，which requires all-round support from policies，management，funds，facilities and talents. And put forward relevant suggestions to speed up the standardization of community health services.
