In 2021，Guangzhou’s commercial circulation industry recovered to some extent. Wholesale and retail，transportation grew steadily，and commodity import and export faced good situation，despite the impact of epidemic fluctuations，lack of electricity and cabinets，and high commodity prices. Looking ahead to 2022，there are still uncertainties in the changes of the epidemic，and there are many uncertainties in domestic and international environment，with the high-quality development opportunities for the modern distribution system，effective consumption policies，new consumption patterns to stimulate new demand，commerce and trade circulation industry face both opportunities and challenges. This paper suggests promoting the further development of Guangzhou’s commercial circulation industry from the following aspects：promoting the construction of an international consumption center，highlighting the stimulation of consumption vitality，effectively stabilizing foreign trade，upgrading the level of international comprehensive transportation hub，and striving to build a better business environment.
