By analyzing criminal judgments on homicide in China’s judicial documents network and Beijing court information network nearly，we found that the main body of the crime of homicide in Beijing was aging，male and Beijing registered residence. At the same time，the behavior of homicide in Beijing is characterized by the vast majority of homicide cases caused by marriage，family and emotional disputes，mostly passionate homicide，and a certain proportion of criminals with mental diseases. Therefore，we should give full play to the role of grass-roots residents’ committees and people’s adjustment committees in resolving contradictions，strengthen the publicity and education of the rule of law to key groups，and establish a key observation and care system for community mental patients，so as to effectively reduce the occurrence of intentional homicide cases in Beijing.
