The service to the vulnerable Children’s family in Beijing needs to be transformed into the developmental social assistance. The government has adopted different methods including physical assistance，categorical protection to different vulnerable children and ensuring children’s education so as to support the livelihood and development of vulnerable children. However，the varied types of problems within the family have ill-effects on the physical and mental health of vulnerable Children. The developmental social assistance to those families by the social worker has had positive impacts on the vulnerable Children. But it is vital and significant for the vulnerable children’s family to enact the developmental social policy，to evaluate the impacts on the vulnerable people before the implementation of policies and regulations，to cultivate the public welfare resources and to encourage well-off families to take responsibilities of caring for vulnerable children.
