Making good use of red cultural resources to deepen the Party history learning and education for young people is the fundamental plan of “succeeding generations”. It is found that Guangzhou has many red cultural resources，which are concentrated in the city center and carry the stories of many revolutionary youths，providing vivid materials for youth Party history learning and education. Currently，Guangzhou’s youth have ambitious ideal pursuits，high national identity and strong socialist beliefs，which can be attributed to the effective ideology and political education of secondary school. However，there are also problems that some schools do not pay enough attention to the ideal and belief education of young people，the education level of school history and Civics courses needs to be improved，and the function of school team organizations and red cultural resources in educating people is not enough. Therefore，it is necessary to make good use of red cultural resources，promote innovative development of youth education on Party history through online and offline efforts，create “red propaganda team” and deepen the implementation of “Youth Marxist Training Project”，to lead Guangzhou youth to inherit the red gene and continue the red bloodline.
