Low-carbon fuels have good application practice cases in the United States，Europe and other countries and regions. The most typical example is the Low Carbon Fuel Standard （LCFS） released and implemented by California. The standard has led to a significant reduction in the average carbon intensity of fuels in California’s transportation sector since its implementation in 2011. Low-carbon fuels will still play an important role in achieving the “double-carbon” goals. It is necessary for China to learn of valuable experience and lessons in the development of low-carbon fuels from advanced countries and regions，continue to guide the de-carbonization in the transportation sector and ultimately achieve full-range de-carbonization.
