The international language environment is an important part of Guangzhou’s international service environment，an important part of the construction of public service system in line with international standards，and it is also the basic work for Guangzhou to build an international exchange center. The construction of the international language environment is facing various challenges due to the complexity of construction itself. In order to create an excellent international language environment and enhance the city’s international exchange functions，Guangzhou should focus on coordinating the language environment building with key development tasks of the city；promoting local legislation for the construction of an international language environment as soon as possible from the experience of other provinces and cities；strengthening source prevention and control by taking various centralized error correction actions；making use of modern scientific and technological achievements to promote the construction of international language environment big data system；practicing the governance concept of “co-construction，co-governance and sharing” and improve the social awareness of foreign language signs；building a platform to give full play to the role of volunteers，industry associations and expert teams.
