2021 was a critical year for the development of China’s education，especially for children’s education. This year was also the start of the 14th Five-Year Plan，which has made a promise to bring Chinese children’s education into a new stage of high-quality development. Therefore，exploring the modernization of Chinese-style education has become a strategy for the development of children’s education in the future. In 2021，the “double reduction” policy rolled out，creating a more favorable social environment for children’s education. The Family Education Promotion Law was officially promulgated，which marked a new era of child upbringing in accordance with the law，meaning that the coordinated education at school，in families and society has more laws to abide by. The Compulsory Education Curriculum Program and Curriculum Standards（2022） will ensure the implementation of children’s education and children’s healthy development goals. The central government and local authorities are making constant progress，with new breakthroughs and achievements in promoting children’s education and development，and the high-quality development of children’s education in China is taking shape.
