Since the revision and implementation of the “Domestic Waste Management Regulations in Beijing”，remarkable results have been achieved. The legal and policy system for waste management has been preliminarily established，the infrastructure and operation methods of waste management have been upgraded，and waste management has become an important focus of social governance innovation at the grass-roots level，the proportion of domestic waste recycling has increased significantly. Promoting the “one network management system” of garbage sorting can be used as the general “starter” for a package of further improvement measures.
