In 2020，Liuzhou City made efforts in the aspects of physical connectivity，Guangdong-Guangxi industrial linkage and basin ecological environment management sharing，and has achieved remarkable results in promoting the development of the Pearl River-Xijiang River Economic Belt. However，there are also a series of difficulties and problems such as difficulties in promoting infrastructure projects and in water transport operation and development，and unreasonable industrial structure. In the future，Liuzhou should accelerate the construction of infrastructure and build itself into a national comprehensive transport hub；speed up the pace of industrial transformation and open up smooth channels for trade；carry out targeted investment attraction and deepen all-round regional opening and cooperation；focus on green transformation and development and accelerate the construction of a beautiful Liuzhou.
