The Outline of Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area（GBA）speaks of “Shaping a Healthy Bay Area”. Among the chains the Medical Device Industry is one of the important links. It is an unprecedented pilot program of policy innovation to promote GBA medical device industry synergy development under one country，two systems，three jurisdictions and customs territories，three currency circulations. Since the Outline Development Plan released in 2019，GBA keeps overcoming institutional differences，conducting policy pilots on integrated supervision，collaborative innovation，medical integration，circulation of industrial factors including capital，supplies and talents，accelerating industrial innovation，production and application process. Now GBA has developed medical device industrial synergy innovation ecology framework，in spite of many blocking points during implemetation processes. Hopefully in the future the institutional innovations would be launched and improved in pilot zones intensively，which will result in acceleration of the industrial synergy innovation small ecology formation. The development models would be promoted to GBA，and the industrial chain would be extended to domestic and international area finally.
