The health and pharmaceutical industry is one of the key strategic emerging industries in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Zhongshan is located in the geometric center of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area，with a solid foundation for the development of the health and pharmaceutical industry，which plays an important supporting role in the health and pharmaceutical industry of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. This paper analyzes the development status and existing problems of Zhongshan’s health and pharmaceutical industry，and analyzes the opportunities and challenges of the development of Zhongshan’s health and pharmaceutical industry in the context of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. On the basis of learning from the experience of developing the health and pharmaceutical industry in other regions，the idea and focus of the high-quality development of the health and pharmaceutical industry in Zhongshan City in the context of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area are clarified，and countermeasures and suggestions for promoting the high-quality development of the health and pharmaceutical industry in Zhongshan are put forward.
