2021年的美国传媒业呈现出更为深刻的转型趋势,社交媒体领域异军突起。实现弯道超车的TikTok和以Amazon和Disney+为代表的影视流媒体新势力以“破茧”的态势挑战了FAANG联盟对于数字媒体行业的垄断;美国老牌传媒巨头Facebook和Google纷纷布局“元宇宙”,尝试通过“开元”的思路拓展新的市场和商业增长点。本文从新闻与广播电视业、互联网与社交媒体、影视娱乐与流媒体、广告业与以“元宇宙”为代表的新兴媒介产业五个角度出发,揭示2021年美国传媒产业发展值得关注的问题。
<<In 2021,the U.S. media industry has profoundly transformed. With the rapid development of Tik Tok and the new power of video streaming represented by Amazon and Disney+ challenging the monopoly of the FAANG Alliance in the digital media industry;traditional U.S. media giants Facebook and Google have focused on the “Metaverse”,trying to expand new markets and commercial growing points. In this paper,we focus on the news and broadcast industry,the Internet and social media,film,entertainment and streaming media industry,the advertising industry and the emerging media industry represented by the “Metaverse” to reveal the issues worthy of attention in the U.S. media industry in 2021.
