At present，the world is undergoing century-old changes and the epidemic is intertwined，and the new technological and industrial revolution is gaining momentum. In 2021，China’s wireless communication have continued to develop rapid development. In particular，new infrastructure，represented by 5G，has formed systematic leading advantages in network，application and industrial ecology. In accordance with the principle of “moderately advanced”，China’s 5G network coverage is increasingly improved，and 5G applications are gradually developing towards large-scale development. As 5G standards and user needs become clearer，industry applications are becoming deeper and more practical. As the number of 5G users steadily climbs，the personal applications market continues to grow. This paper analyzes the development status of wireless mobile communication networks and services in 2021，and looks forward to the development trend of wireless mobile communication in the future with 5G application as the entry point.
