Promoting common prosperity of farmers and rural areas through green development is the integration of Xi Jinping’s thought on ecological civilization and the long-term task of common prosperity of all people in agriculture，rural areas and farmers. It is the way to implement “clear water and green mountains are gold and silver mountains”. As an important ecological barrier in the national ecological security strategy and an important water conservation area in the upper reaches of the Yangtze and Yellow Rivers，Sichuan has superior agricultural ecological endowment and rich ecological resources. Integrating the concept of green development into the whole process of rural revitalization and agricultural and rural modernization is the only way to enhance the brand of “agricultural province” and promote common prosperity for farmers and rural areas. This paper summarizes the measures and results of green development in the fields of agriculture，rural areas and farmers in Sichuan Province，analyzes the obstacles faced by Sichuan province in promoting common prosperity of farmers and rural areas with green development，and puts forward targeted solutions，in order to provide decision-making reference for promoting common prosperity of farmers and rural areas.
