The high-quality development of Sichuan rural tourism is an important means and path to promote common prosperity. Sichuan is the largest province in the country for leisure agriculture and rural tourism. In recent years，with the goal of meeting the upgrading needs of residents’ leisure consumption，Sichuan has vigorously promoted the upgrading of leisure agriculture，and rural tourism has achieved remarkable results. However，in the stage of economic development from high-speed development to high-quality development，the contradiction between the unbalanced supply of high-quality tourism products in Sichuan is still prominent，mainly manifested in the problems of emphasizing “shape” over “soul”，emphasizing “quantity” over “quality”，and emphasizing “business” over “agriculture”. In the new stage of development，the high-quality development of Sichuan’s rural tourism should focus on “resource utilization”，“standardized operation”，“product innovation” and “scale operation”，and take a road of rural tourism with Sichuan characteristics to boost common prosperity.
