Equipment manufacturing industry，as a “national important weapon”，its high-quality development plays a very important strategic role in national defense security，economic security and industrial security. As an important old industrial base in China，the three northeastern provinces have a good industrial foundation and traditional advantages in the development of equipment manufacturing industry，forming a solid equipment manufacturing industrial system. However，there are still some problems in the equipment manufacturing industry of the three northeastern provinces，such as insufficient independent innovation ability，prominent structural contradictions，low level of clustering，shortage of high-end talents and so on. We must promote the high-quality development of equipment manufacturing industry from the aspects of improving the ability of independent innovation，accelerating the technological transformation and upgrading of enterprises，strengthening open cooperation and exchange，building a modern talent training system and releasing the vitality of system and mechanism.
