With the formal establishment of the first batch of national parks such as the Giant Panda National Park，China has entered a new stage in the process of establishing a protected natural land system with national parks as the main body，and has new requirements for the construction and management of national parks. On the basis of a comprehensive investigation of the social and economic status of Ya’an area of Giant Panda National Park，this paper analyzes the problems of unclear natural resources，low economic level and single industrial structure in the research area. Based on the above research results，this paper puts forward protection and management suggestions for Ya’an area of Giant Panda National Park from the aspects of natural resources inventory，community coordinated community development，industrial transformation and upgrading.
