This report makes a systematic analysis and research on the regional distribution，competitiveness，and key clinical specialties of top 50 Children’s hospitals and top 50 maternity hospitals，in order to providing reference for the high-quality development of public hospitals. The results show that among the seven regions in China，the number of listed hospitals and the competitiveness index in East China are dominant，and the number of listed hospitals in the other six regions is almost the same，while the competitiveness index in northwest and northeast China is relatively weak. Among the top 10 children’s hospitals，Beijing and Shanghai’s hospitals together account for 50%；general hospitals play a leading role in the amount of medical services for children and women；Guangdong ranked the first in both the number of hospitals and the number of newborns on the list，while Jiangsu and Zhejiang are rich in high-quality child and maternity medical resources.
