The report is divided into five parts：“Development environment of the traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） industry in Beijing”，“TCM Service Status”，“TCM Scientific research status”，“TCM health care industry”，and “TCM Internationalization”. The first part analyzes the development environment of the TCM industry in Beijing from the perspectives of policy，society and economy. Then this paper summarizes the key points of Beijing’s TCM policy，residents’ recognition of TCM and government’s financial support. The second part makes a statistical analysis of TCM medical resources in Beijing and evaluates the richness of TCM resources in Beijing. The third part discusses the input and output of TCM research in Beijing by analyzing the research indicators such as the number of TCM projects and so on. The fourth part reviews the development status of health care industry in Beijing，such as TCM tourism and health examination. The fifth part introduces the current situation，advantages and disadvantages of cultural industry of TCM in Beijing from three perspectives of cultural research，cultural publicity and talent exchange.
