This report selected 4 index from 2 aspects of traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） health reservation：TCM preventive treatment of disease and TCM health management，to establish an evaluation index system of TCM health reservation. Two rounds of Delphi expert consultation were used to determine the weight of each evaluation index. The development status on TCM health reservation of 31 provinces，municipalities and autonomous regions in China were evaluated and compared by this evaluation index system using two-year data from 2018 to 2019. Results show that the average score of 31 provinces，municipalities and autonomous regions for TCM health reservation in 2019 is 63.58. Among them，Jilin Province has the highest score of 80.65. Yunnan Province，Shanxi Province，Chongqing City and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region rank the second to fifth places，respectively. Both in 2018 and 2019，the average ranking of TCM health reservation is highest in the western region，showing the outstanding overall situation as well as stable development and slight improvement of TCM health reservation in this region. In addition，the provinces that put forward the goal of building a “Strong Province of TCM” have slight advantages in TCM health management over those who did not. To conclude，this report shows the uneven and unbalanced development of TCM health reservation among different indexes and regions. It is necessary to construct the supervision mechanism system of TCM health reservation，improve the training system of TCM health reservation talents，encourage and support the research and development of TCM health reservation technology，and strengthen the publicity of TCM health reservation culture.
