Optoelectronic industry is an important part of national strategic emerging industry. Based on the analysis of the development situation and trend of optoelectronic industry at home and abroad，this paper systematically combs the development status of optoelectronic industry in urban agglomerations in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River，and puts forward some suggestions on scientific and technological services to support the development of Optoelectronic Information Industry in urban agglomerations in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. In the new stage of high-quality development，we should focus on key areas such as integrated circuits，solar photovoltaics，semiconductor lighting，optical storage and communications，and optical displays，lay out a number of major scientific and technological infrastructure，and further increase the focus and implementation of optoelectronic industry policies. Improve the collaborative innovation mechanism of innovative subjects such as universities，institutes，and enterprises，and continue to enhance the technological innovation capabilities of “stuck neck” in key areas.
