Carrying out Traditional Chinese Medicine（TCM）Education in primary and secondary schools helps to inherit excellent traditional culture，improve youth health literacy，deeply tap the cultural value of TCM and improve the curriculum content of primary and secondary schools. China has implemented TCM Education in primary and secondary schools in many places throughout the country. Through the combination of resources such as colleges and universities and hospitals，and according to the characteristics of primary and secondary education，basic curriculum contents and teaching materials have been formed. Nowadays，the main problems of TCM Education in primary and secondary schools are insufficient development，incomplete policy promotion，insufficient teaching resources and low acceptance of TCM knowledge. In view of the above problems，this paper puts forward four suggestions：promoting the wide popularization of traditional Chinese medicine education among primary and secondary school students，clarifying the implementation path of traditional Chinese medicine education for primary and secondary schools，cultivating excellent teachers of traditional Chinese medicine education in primary and secondary schools and creating a strong cultural atmosphere of traditional Chinese medicine.
