Through the investigation of the overseas application of the “three drugs and three prescriptions” of traditional Chinese medicine launched by the state，this paper explores the paths and methods for traditional Chinese medicine to the global，and accordingly provides reference suggestions for promoting the internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine. The survey found that people in many countries have positively evaluated and fully affirmed the role of the “three drugs and three prescriptions” in the fight against the COVID-19，and some countries have started clinical trials or completed registration and approval procedures for traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of COVID-19. Studies have shown that medical assistance，improving the level of modernization and industrialization of traditional Chinese medicine，and providing evidence-based evidence are possible paths and ways for traditional Chinese medicine to go global，and that strengthening multi-party exchanges，relying on overseas traditional Chinese medicine associations to integrate into local medical service systems，and increasing awareness of traditional Chinese medicine promotion can further accelerate the internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine.
